Hello October

Well, we went to the fair last night. We really did put forth a little effort to pay admission, but some how managed to keep our $18. We just parked on Richmond north of the fairgrounds, walked across the street into gate 6, where usually you only enter with your huge truck and trailer. It looked like those people were stopping and paying, so Nathan asked an official looking man where the gate entrance was and the guy said, "You just came through. You're in the fair." We said, "cool" and went on our merry way.

This crazy thing was too tall for Riley and too short for Claire, so here I am straining to hold Riley up until Claire would actually look at the camera, which Claire never did because her head was being pushed down. Funny.

Of all the fair food, we had nothing on a stick. Just some funnel cake and fries with "plastic cheese" as Nathan taught the girls. The girls were saying, "mmm, Daddy, I love fries with French plastic cheese."
