Just wanted to share a great book with everyone. It's a real struggle for me to make time for God's Word these days. Sleep is a pretty important ingredient to my sanity, so I'm bad at making myself rise before the kids. And then I've tried reading with them running around me and that's pretty tough too. Then my friend Denise introduced me to a children's Bible. It's actually the best children's Bible I have ever read. Every single story is ultimately about Jesus (even the old testament ones). Usually I feel like my brain is in such a state of mushiness that it's hard to do in-depth studying without straying to laundry and flu shots and dinner. The book is called The Jesus Storybook Bible - Every story whispers His name, by Sally Lloyd-Jones. So I read some to the kids during breakfast this morning. They loved it and I really needed it. I ususally end up crying at the end of each story, as I did this morning. I think every mom should have one for her kids and for herself. :)
