A sweet recipe

For valentines day, Nathan and I cooked at home. We decided we were saving so much $ not going to a restaurant, that we could pretty much make any awesome thing we wanted.
We had an appetizer of prosciutto wrapped shrimp, one of the best steaks ever with blue cheese dipping sauce. It's the kind of thing that makes you sigh and smile the whole time you eat it. Then we had an over-cooked lobster (should have broiled on low on the bottom rack), some great wine, a side of assiago creamed spinach, and lastly and bestly :) chocolate creme brulee.
Nathan, the cook.

I decided to share this great creme brulee recipe with you. If you don't like creme brulee, I think you'll still like this. This is for chocolate, amaretto, and kahlua lovers. I'm just looking for another excuse to make it.

I'm so jealous. We were vomiting and cleaning up diarrhea on Valentine's Day.

Yum. We usually do that, but my sweet husband watched the boy for me while I had a girls weekend with my best friend from college. Ah luxury.
I'm impressed that Nate made lobster. I'm scared to make it!
