I've been so bad about taking pictures lately.
We went to the zoo today with the cousins. Alyson took pictures. I'll steal them from her after she posts them.
After we wore ourselves out at the zoo we ran home for lunch and naps, and then off to the doctor. Kate has a sinus infection so we got some antibiotics. We picked up the meds and ran home to fix dinner. So we hardly sat down today and I am waiting for the tylenol to kick in and wipe out this huge sun/no coffee/running-around-all-day headache. But I really am grateful that, a) we've had some gorgeous, warm weather, and b) we kept so busy while Nathan was away on business. It was a lot easier than I thought it might be.
There was a sad, sweet moment when Claire got out of bed one evening because she couldn't sleep. She missed Daddy. I called Nathan and let her say goodnight to him. She said in her tiny little voice, "I want you to come home right now." And made Daddy cry.
Storms are coming soon, I hear. I hope our recycling doesn't blow away. We have about 20 milk cartons out there.

yep. made my eyes water. I love your new quote from Riley. it's weird, because some day I'm going to, like, hang out with your kids. as friends. that will be weird. it's weird that riley is so old. she used to be so fat. i love her. i'd love for you to have a boy version of any of your kids. maybe kate. she would be a cool boy.
you know teh pic of Kate, 1 year on the right side of your blog is about as adorable as a picture can be.
Ah. It's so hard when daddy's are away. I'm going to go through it this week and am kinda dreading it and I only have one! It makes such a difference when there is a daddy to run to at the end of the day!
