The other day I was just needing a short break from kids and construction paper and such. I just said, "kids, give me 5 minutes." I flipped on the tv and decided to see what Oprah was talking about. Don't hate me. I don't watch her ever. I just got curious. So she was talking to a few people about the darkest days of their life. I didn't realize that Riley was listening intently.
So I decided I didn't need to see anymore, turned it off, and forgot I'd ever seen it. Riley then plopped down next to me and said, "Mommy, I know what the darkest day of my life was." I was so caught off guard until she finished her explanation. "It was at the zoo in that really dark cave." I was so relieved that it wasn't some terrible way I'd failed her as a mother or something.

I just read that to Kami and Lauren and we laughed. Amanda, Hookah gives you a buzz... like a pipe or a glass of wine. You big crazy. Someday we'll smoke Hookah together. Maybe in heaven
That's hilirious.
that is funny....i think if we got our kids together kaleb and Riley would make signs and come up with witty things to say and hannah and the other girls would be so girly and cute!!
yeah - that cave is about the funnest things at the zoo with 6 kids and two strollers and no way out but through the darkest day of your life. Riley is something else!
That's funny...
