I just thought this was funny.
Yesterday, after picking Riley up from school, we ran by Braums to pick up some milk. It's a bit of a hassle because I'm not comfortable leaving all the kids in the van, though it is a quick errand. So all 4 of them come with me to get two jugs of milk. Thankfully, Kate loves to carry her half gallon, so I just have to carry Lola and the other gallon. It's very doable. So we got our purchase and headed out the door. I have a line of girls trailing behind me. Well, there was another little girl in Braums that loved the sight of so many little girls. She came out the first set of doors just to watch us walk to the van. A lady sitting in her car right in front of us saw this girl. I suppose if I have 4 girls, I may as well have 5. She thought I was leaving one of my children behind. As we were 12" from the front of her car she honked her horn about 17 times until Kate nearly had a heart attack, tripped and fell into the carseat I was carrying and hit her nose. I spun around thinking one of them was running out in front of a car or something. No big deal. She was just trying to help. And once I smiled and shook my head and mouthed that she wasn't mine, the lady was very embarrassed. As I brought my wounded and frightened children to the van, I just had to laugh. Don't I look like I need another one? Haha.

That's hilarious. I would take it as a compliment: you clearly looked like you were capable of handling five. :-)
haha i'm pretty sure something similar happened to my mom a few times. also, we did actually leave someone behind at awana one time. Oops.
That's true - one or another of us was left at church or home by accident on occasion. Poor Kate! Glad you didn't drop the milk.
Haha, awesome. Am I crazy in saying I can't wait to have more kids so I can have all these ridiculous stories?
