Here is silly Claire decorating her gingerbread house.
This was later in the evening at my parent's house. This pumpkin mousse was so good. I made way too much, and then ate way too much. I'll remember that I need to do that next year too. :)
Sorry, I don't know how to blog. I can never get my pictures in order. This is back at Grandma and Grandpa's for lunch. Grandma does things fancy, and the girls always help load the cart to bring the food to the dining room. Those are oranges stuffed with sweet potatoes and broccoli almond soup. Mmmmm.
Everything was lovely and delicious.
Then we ran outside to work off some calories, and crazies.
Rewind. Nathan pouring sparkling cider.
The tradition continues, with decorating ginger bread houses after lunch.
Back outside to walk around the neighborhood.
Riley's telling us how it is. Kate's scheming something. Claire is about to help Lola throw sticks in the stream below by picking her up and dangling her over the edge.
The girls also glued and glittered name place cards.
The stream was full, so the girls had fun practicing skipping rocks.
Look at all those big girls. Look at that tall, almost-8-year-old. Gracious. And I'm almost 30. We're all growing up too fast.
Lola was thrilled. :)

I didn't recognize Riley! Her face looks so mature and her baby fat is gone. I kept thinking Claire was Riley because in my mind Claire has a permanent bob instead of long hair. I also cannot believe how big Lola is. Oh my goodness. It seems like I moved away just yesterday, not 2 years ago.
