Eventful Events

I don't want to bore you with the details.  So I'll make a short list.

1. Nathan went to China and back.
2. Riley and Claire got a stomach bug while he was gone.
3. Claire threw up at school.
4. The next day they were going to turn off our water to do pipe work.
5. I felt really sorry for myself, but then Claire never threw up again, and they never turned off our water.
6. God is gracious even when we don't expect Him to be.
7. Claire's bug turned into severe constipation.
8. Sleepless nights of tossing and turning from tummy pain.
9. No groceries because we couldn't leave the house for the tummy pain/crying/fetal position.
10. We cried because we missed daddy.
11. We voted on a new pastor at church.  That's exciting.
12. I sewed 2 dresses for the wedding.  2 more to go.
13. Nathan shaved off his beard!  The girls don't know how to approach him for a day or so. :)
14. Claire got blood work done and I'll drop off her pee sample today.  But I think we've got it figured out.  No dairy for 2 weeks.  High fiber diet.
15. Making cake balls for Ange's wedding shower coming up.
16. Worked out, showered, went to Sam's and restocked the house.  Feeling normal again. :)

Oh yes, and my sisters and I went out to a late breakfast with my mom for her birthday the day after Nathan was back in town.  It was medicine to my soul.  I love my family.  It reminds me that that whole list up there is small stuff and totally outweighed by how rich I am in little lives growing up around me.
Some day my girls will take me out to some lunch place when we're all grown up and buy over-priced sandwiches (Panera. We usually boycott) and laugh and be rejuvenated by each other.
