Way back in October of 2010 I started peeling the paper off of our 1950's den bathroom walls.
The mirror is kind of antique, but kind of gross.
After a year of peeling here and there, all the paper was finally off and I started mudding the walls just a couple of weeks ago. That got Nathan excited and he ripped the mirror out of the wall.
And sledged the yellow "counter top" out of the corner.
And then removed the sink and cabinet...
And ultimately the toilet, which had mold under it. So he removed those boards and replaced half the floor and sub-floor.
Next comes tile, once we get it picked out.
Horizontal paneling is my new favorite thing for our gutted guest bathroom.
I figure with neutral flooring and white paneling, I can get away with one of these colors for the top of the wall.
I'll choose a couple of these colors to do a stencil job like this:
That's the plan.
