Yesterday was such a happy time. I was just overwhelmed with the girls' precious cards, and how truly blessed I am to be a mom to them. I'll save their cards forever. Claire's said, "I love you. How are you filing? Wot does God loc lic?...Everything that is nice is what you are."
Riley covered my bedroom door (at 5:30 am. She was excited about this surprise) with 20 Lovely Things About My Mom. Among those things were "You have a hart." "A strong Hart" "Good Stile", "Gentle in every way", and "Your not fansy, Your cajul." :) I cracked up at that one.
And I got lots of good hugs.
Then we had church, Nathan's parents over for lunch (delicious Pioneer woman chicken salad, fruit salad, and walnut dark chocholate ganache sandwich cookies), 10 minute nap, returned our borrowed crib back to the family that I nannied forever ago (they're teenagers now, but I still see 3-yr-olds. It was so fun), went to cousin Adelle's 2nd birthday party, and then to evening church to play with those awesomely energetic 3-5 yr-olds. Then Nathan took us to a mexican restaurant where we saw our friends with a flat tire, so we had a party in the parking lot until they got it aired up again. Such a fun and full day...
However, I'm half dead today. :) It was a gift from the Lord that Riley needed me to bring her yearbook to her for signing time this morning, otherwise I wouldn't not have brought myself to get us all out of our jammies. So I did that, and then actually bought some food and plan to fix dinner today. Though it may be all I do.

Sometimes it's a good day if we wear clothes and eat food. We're so pitiful.
Ha! Yes, it really helps. :)
So precious. That sounds like a fun weekend.
