Big ol' Fun Weekend

Kate and I attended a skating birthday party.
They had these great skater/walkers that were a big help.

I was free to shed on my skilz.
I mean, I never fell.  I think my blades were lame.  My heart tells me I would skate like I did 10 years ago if I had the right skates.

I was so darn tired that night.  I had a lot of dessert cooking ahead of me for the evening so I asked the girls to help me with dinner.
They did a superb job.

With the basil from our garden we had an orzo pesto that was just awesome.

I just thought I'd throw this in there.  I failed to share our experience with a Clydesdale that they had at the Driller's game.  Awesomely huge.  But the lightening was scaring him so his visit was short.

Monday we went to my parents' to visit Zach as he was passing through town before he heads back to New York for a bit.  He brought his slack line, of which he is a professional.

Even professionals fall off the slack line.

We just call her Slack-Line Riley.

Daddy helped Kate.  The kids loved it.  We may need to get one.

Here is a video of Zachy-Zach.

Al tried.  :)

Good job skating! You can borrow my skates any time you like. I probably won't be using them any time soon.
