Well, just this morning the girls and I drove to school, the sun shining in the van windows (not glaringly, but happily), singing I Need an Ambulance (Eisley) at the top of their little lungs.
Thankfully, after what feels like a dozen months, but I'm sure was only 2-ish, their favorite song is not a Frozen song. And I love pretending like I need an ambulance sometimes. And they do too. We really feel it together while we're singing with all our hearts.
It's these awesome times that I'm glad we're just a pile of little women growing up together, singing, "I took, I took the worst of the blow. Send me a Redeemer! Let me know, am I gonna be okay?..." Kate feels it the most, and Lola watches her sing with great empathy. :) It's sweet.
Spring is just magical. I pick arugula, drink in the vitamin D, and feel like I'm the most blessed person ever. Lola just learned to swing by herself. I just watch her flying happily as high as she can. We noticed wild flowers that they're letting grow in the median on the drive to school. We water our little potted flowers.
We're just blessed, with sun shine and small, passionately singing voices.
Hope you all are loving your spring too.

I sing that to Leon all the time. I love that song. Ah, Eisley. And did you mean to say Lola looks at Kate with empathy? Or apathy? Either way, I love your pile of little women. I remember when I learned to swing myself. Awesome.
Oh goodness, yes, I meant empathy. :)
