Claire caught a caterpillar.
Kate found that she is a fan of pickled asparagus. Imagine that.
After that fun dinner, we finally did the thing Nathan has been telling the girls they could do for a long time. The whole family (except for Kate) slept in a tent in the backyard just to get in some practice before we try a real camping trip. I forgot to take any pictures. :( It was a little chilly, but the girls slept like rocks until 7:30. Getting to bed at 9:30 was pretty late for the girls, but it was a nice early bedtime for Nathan and I. So, although the yard is a little hard and lumpy and the back ached a little in the morning, I felt quite refreshed. I should probably go to bed at 9:30 every night...but then I would never get to talk to my husband.

i can't wait to go camping. tyler and i registered for some cool camping stuff.
oh, and linens and things is going out of business. which sucks, because we'll have to re-register for things after my shower this weekend. are you prepared?
