Weber House Projects

Here is the most recent work done on the Weber house. Nathan put a microwave above the stove to give us more counter space. This has made cooking so much more of a joy. Notice the unfinished reflecting backsplash. That is our...Nathan's current project.
Nathan put it up behind the sink to fix our wet and crumbling sheetrock problem, and we liked it so much that we're wrapping it around to the other wall.
Once that is finished, it's on to the tile. Lack of caulking and spillage of water caused lots of mold and warping of wood, which caused cracking of tile, which created a huge job for Nathan, and now has cracked again. I think we (I keep saying we. I mean Nathan ) are just going take up all the tile and paint the wood underneath. A color is yet to be settled on. This is a tough one.

Woh, Manda... what is with these weird construction equipment comments? Bizarre. The kitchen looks great, by the way. You and Nathan are so much handier than Lucas and me. We would both be so lost with these projects... but you and Nathan do such a great job!

Yay for kitchen projects! And these might not involve fabric, but they sure do beautify things, no? :) The backsplash looks fantastic.
