After snow.
The girls do not have suitable gloves for playing in the snow. And of course, Target is selling bathing suits now, so we're out of luck. So we spend 20 minutes or so getting ready to go outside. The girls trudge around and bit until the pain in their hands brings them to tears (about 5 minutes). Then we run inside for some hot chocolate. They always forget the pain, because we manage to do this a few times a day.

how fun!! it is far to cold for my california born body to venture outside....speaking of bathing suits, we are leaving the house for the first time since sunday to go to swim lessons....I was sick monday so I have been trapped longer
