Thank you all for your words of wisdom. It's so great to have smart friends and family. :) I jumped to extremes on my own there. I'm sure my doc never said "no" carbs. I just freaked out there a little and then freaked out to Nathan, so he was being the police for me, telling me the raisins were too high in carbs and that I needed to take them off my cellery and peanut butter. Torture.
But it's true I needed a wake-up call. I'm the dessert lady. And I'd like to think there are no consequences to that as long as I work my butt off. But I guess that's not so.
Okay, no more carb talk. Time for pics of bumper pads!

My flash really washed out the blue. The walls are a little deeper/brighter than this picture shows.

And I was SO excited to find a changing table pad cover to match, so I had to include that down in the corner of the picture. :)
There is still so much to be done. Half the bows on the pads are just pinned. They're too thick for my machine, so I'm killing my fingers and taking 4 times as long to get them sewed on. And then I still need to hang stuff on the walls, but that's not quite as critical. Lola can handle bare walls for a couple of weeks if that's what it comes to.

What a great, designer looking bumper pad. I love it and the red is so nice.
Don't know how you're making it with the low-carb/no carb diet. Kate Feist just went though that with Simone who was born a month ago. So crazy because immediately after birth, everything reverted to normal. Maybe everyone will feel sorry for you and bring you some fabulous treats to indulge in.
