Back to real life

Nathan's back at work. Riley's back at school. The house is a little quieter. I made a resolution to work out more days a week (about 4 rather than just 2) and then Lola woke up a lot last night, so now I want to give up on that resolution on day one. We'll see.
Kate's new thing is to cut hair. Hers and her sisters' hair. Nothing too visibly drastic has happened yet.
A new year is exciting. New years day I had the opportunity to drive around and run some quick errands all by myself. What great thinking and reflecting time! Taking the time to think is good. :) Looking back and seeing the goodness of God is very good. I should do that more often. He takes care of us. He brings us out of a dark cloud when we think we may never come out. He gives second chances and thousandth chances and pours mercy out on us, and it's so good to look back and see that.

I'm picking out paint colors for the new house. It's hard! Believe it or not, I may not paint ANY green in this house. I'm turning over a new leaf. :)

Love your coffee-every-day resolution. Must be nice to have a quieter house. HIDE THOSE SCISSORS!!! I'm all for the crochet and visit and tell RIley it's her fault - j/k!
