Pictures of Progress

I have a great picture that I won't share because it's inappropriate for blogging. It is Kate on the potty chair drinking milk out of a champaign glass, that represents the lack of progress in this house. She just loves doing it in the pull-up. Oh well. Let's move on to happier topics.

Lola now sits up pretty much on her own, and scoot-crawls everywhere fast. And now this is her favorite thing to do. She'll pull up on anything her chubby fingers can grab.
As I was going through the 3month clothing box, Kate found her favorite outfit that she did not want to return to Aunt Aly.
Kate makes progress on the swing. She has learned to pump her legs and swing herself! So exciting!
This is not a picture of progress, but just some of our morning entertainment, listing our family members and their greatest attribute:
"Kate is the craziest. Claire is the pickiest. Riley is the loudest. Mommy is the cleanest. Daddy is the funnest. Lola is the sweet and cutest. Grandpa is the silliest. Grandma is the craftiest. Hudson is the coolest. Pierce is the toughest. Ange is the best Aunt. Shannon is the tallest. Tyler is the weirdest. Aly is the most fabulous. Mimi is the prettiest. Papa is the awesomest."
And here is kitchen progress. The room is finally complete, with pictures on the wall.

Yesterday I finished painting the hallway. It took a couple of days. It turns a corner and there are 2 closets, two bedrooms and a bathroom to paint around too. Tedious cutting around the trim work. But so nice now that it's done.

The next project on the list is to paint all our lovely doors white. We're tempted to get a paint sprayer.
The nursery is the last bedroom to be done. I'll get to it some day. I just wanted to show you what our whole house looked like when we first moved in. Lovely patches everywhere. Ah, progress feels good.

wow Lola pulling up? strange!
I thought the list said Claire was the richest, ha, pickiest makes more sense. I love that Pierce is the toughest, he has such a cute mafia voice :) And I like that Shan and Tyler are defined by being tall and weird!
i love it when you have a new post, i know it will always make my day funnier.

Love the progress! I need to work on my bathroom, but I keep finding other things to do.
