I suppose I should blog

Lately Kate is calling Lola a "gwutt head." I love her mispronunciations. She wants to wear jeams and scretch her legs. There are a dozen a day and I forget them by the end of the day. Anyway, back to "gwutt head."
I don't know where she heard it. I think I've learned my lesson in choosing cartoons on Netflix. I find a pretty princess looking movie and turn it on, only to find that there's an evil guy with a rotting body and a woodland creature who says God's name in vain. Since I don't have time to watch these unknown princess shows before showing them to the kids, I guess we'll keep it safe and restricted to Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake. Although, both annoy me with their world view.
I know what I wish they had to watch, but no one makes a cartoon that awesome. I think I'll write a story, draw some pictures, and make a book, and then find someone to make it into a cartoon for me. It'll be an allegory almost as awesome as the Chronicles of Narnia. I'll give you a copy when it's done. :)

I feel your pain! I will pay money for your cartoon. You should write one about life lessons involving your kids. It can only be good.

Oh man, play the old school cartoon Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe. I think Ange got that for me on DVD a few years back. It's so boring and weird now, but I still love it. "Spare.. oom... and ward.. robe?"

Good cartoons are hard to find! I am showing Miriam a few sesame street videos that I select on youtube. They are each less than a minute and you can string them together in a playlist...

Have you ever seen Avatar, the last airbender? If you have netflix I highly recommend you watch it, but it's for older grade school kids. In my opinion its the only good cartoon out there right now, but it's a three-season epic and it's already done :(.
