I'm so weak. Well, I like to think I'm strong, but vacation and VBS back to back force me to extreme measures. There was only one day on vacation I didn't have coffee and the headache came just in time for a lovely wedding. So anyway, maybe next week my Samson strength will return and I'll get back off. We'll see.
Vacation was full of fun and we made some great memories. The hotel, in itself, was enough to make the vacation worth it for the kids. I facebooked this, but upon entry to our room all girls were running from one corner of the place to the other saying how wonderful that we had complimentary lotion and shampoo and so many pillows. Kate ran around with Nathan's cell phone charger and found all the plugs. She ran into Nathan's and my room and asked, "Did Jesus put a plug in here?!" Jesus made everything, you know.
During the first day, which was rainy, we went to an indoor bouncy place. And once the rain slowed, went to a Farmstead with cows, goats, playground, chickens laying eggs, and miniature tractors to ride.
Day two we spent at Worlds of Fun. The rain left just as the park was opening and we cooked nicely. Nathan and I each got to ride a fast roller coaster. Claire even rode a twisty one with Nathan. She's os brave. :)
Day 3 we went to The Farm to see Grammy and Gramps, chase their cat, ride in a wagon behind the tractor, pick up sticks and play with dominoes. Then we swam in the hotel pool (By the way, Kate calls is a home-tel), blow dried our sweat, and went to our cousin's wedding. It was such a nice wedding. So fancy. We couldn't stay long with the crazies.
I was going to post pictures, but it isn't working like it usually does. I'll try again later.

Worlds of Fun! Oh my... that's the place to be. My parents used to make us wear matching clothes when we went so they could keep track of us. And we weren't even that little...
I love how excited your girls got about the home-tel :)
