This post is for Alayna

Kate LOVES her cousin, Alayna.  Alayna has beautiful curls in her hair, sings so pretty, and is so fun to play with.  

Kate wanted to have a special day with Alayna, so we decided to take her to the zoo.  

So many exciting things happened.  We stood there in front of the lion for a while and asked so nicely, "Roar, Lion, Roar!"  But he never would, so we headed toward the penguins and sea lions.  But just as we were leaving, that lion started to roar!  The female inside the cave was roaring to her man outside and they roared back and forth to each other.  It was awesome.  

And I'm the person that has to apologize ahead of time for my annoying ways.  I was running back to the lions while recording, so don't even watch, just listen.  But don't listen to my voice.  Oh, I hate hearing my voice on recordings.  Just listen to the awesome lion. :)

After that dramatic scene of lion lovers calling to each other, we went and fell in love with the sea lions.  They did not want to leave this place, ever.  I did not want to stop taking pictures of them.  They were just telling those sea lions how beautiful they were.  Precious.

I may be trying to upload too many videos in one post.  I'll share the sea lion video in another post.

And the penguins were darn cute.

Then of course, you have to poke your head in here, or it's not a real zoo trip.

We also rode the train while we ate our second bag of gummies.  Boy, did we indulge.  It was the best day ever.  Alayna, we can't wait to do it again with you!
