Way-ell

I think I've come a long way from the days I asked Mom to "pit" my shoes on. Home videos are hilarious though.  It's my dad's/Grandma's fault.  And after all that work of getting the hick out of me, it's just fun to say way-ell, instead of well.  So I'll usually throw in a crazy hick word every now and then.  But then Lola repeats my words.  And now she just starts talking that way for fun.  But not normal hick, just weird sounds.  "Ma-um, A'm paowpy."  And she keeps a straight face.  She puts her hands on my cheeks and says, "Ah, lev yew."  With a straight face.  Don't you think that's a really cool 2-yr old?  Or maybe I'm just raising her to be odd like me.  I suppose it does make sense for the odd mom to think her odd child is cool. :)
