Lola joins her sisters in the first-day-of-school pic. She's not sad, just unsure whether she wants to cooperate or jump off the stairs. I think it's sweet that they want to match their uniforms.
They were all very excited, loading up their lockers with magnets and family pictures.
Little Kate waits patiently while we get the big sisters settled in their classes.
Riley is pumped.
Lola gives a big bye-bye hug.
The girls loved their first day. Kate met another Kate and Claire got another Claire in her class. I think these are the new best friends.
Lola and I went for a run/stroller ride, put up curtain rods and sheers in Riley and Lola's room, went to Sam's and Hobby Lobby, came home and made peanut butter breakfast cookies, lunch and nap time, and before we knew it, it was time to pick up sisters.
Today they wanted to walk in to the school by themselves. Riley and Claire are excited to put their arms around Kate and lead her right to her door. They're precious. I'm so glad they have each other.
And how about this newly cool weather we're having? We are in heaven. This is Kate and Lola taking a rest after raking leaves. Look at that big pile of hard work. :)

they're just so cute
This is the blog-slacker sister, Just catching up. You're hilarious. "Who taught her to present her behind? Certainly not her mother." Haha, that gave me a good laugh. I can't imagine what awesome things you're going to do with yourself. I sometimes have a day "off" here and there and I feel like there are so many awesome things I could do, then I get overwhelmed and sit on my couch watching an old movie and eating dark chocolate. Make a list, and check it off. Lola is awesome.
That leaf pile is so funny with Lola lying down. What a silly.
In a lot of your pictures I think Lola is just Kate's large doll... but she's a real child. I'm glad.
