There are too many pictures to tell the story of our long trek in one post.
Our first stop was St. Charles, MO. where we spent the evening with Shannon and Tyler.
We went out for pizza and then to the stinky river to throw huge rocks.
After this adventure we went back to their place and bounced off their walls and screamed with fear/glee at Charlotte the Great (their sweet boxer). But I got no pictures of that.
Our hotel stay that night was a fitful night for Lola, and thus fitful for her parents. We stopped by the Picasso coffee shop on Main and got their Grog. It was one of my favorite parts of the whole trip. Good Grog.
And I found that if I go to bed with extremely wet hair after showering in ultra soft hotel water, let the hair pillow dry in a rather chilly room, I end up with these great waves. It doesn't work this way at my house.
Not far into our 2nd day of driving we decided to sacrifice an hour to show the girls the St. Louis arch.
This is Lola's princess pose. Who taught her to present her behind? Certainly not her mother.
It really is pretty big. I couldn't get my peeps and the whole arch in one shot.
Onward and upward.
Look-out/potty break.
More driving.
Day3. More driving. The trees are bigger here.
What a beautiful place Annapolis is. I'll show you more of our adventures later.
