Lola's a pro

Day one of potty training, she peed in the floor 4 times.  Thankfully no poo that day.
Day two, she peed in the potty every time.  Thankfully poo'd only when her diaper was on.
Day three, she peed and poo'd in the toilet every time.  I even got to the grocery store with her, not realizing she was in panties, and she did great.
Last night she peed in the toilet, ran out of the bathroom all excited, then stopped mid-skip and said, "Oh, I forgot to toot in the potty."  She ran back, climbed up there, let out her toot, and hopped back down.  I'd say she's got good control. :)

This is why I'm not an over-achiever, and I preach not training until they're 3 or (as Lola is) a month or so away.  They're just so ready that the training is much easier.
I remember training Riley when she was just two and I threw away so many poopy panties.  Couldn't bear to clean them out.  Ever since then I've put it off until they're 3, because I know it will be less work. :)

Also this weekend, I took Riley and Claire to Grove for their friend, Nora's slumber birthday party.  Not much slumbering was had, but there was plenty of beautifying.
I was in charge of the slimy, banana-honey mask station. :)
Claire is terrified of their happy little dog.  In the middle of the night she came downstairs with an earache and Charlie came bounding out to greet her in the dark.  The terrified screaming woke us all.  Then she laid in bed with me until she stopped trembling and the tylenol did it's work.  Those crazy girls probably slept 5 hours at the most.  They were up by 6 working on dance moves and such.

We hustled home from that to get Claire to her soccer game and baby sit some cousins.  I took a lovely nap that afternoon.
I found myself refreshed enough to remove my kitchen cabinet doors and sand them down.

Kate wanted to protect herself from all that dust too.
