On the airplane.
I was just as excited about the plane ride as any other part of the trip. It's just a big long date, sitting next to each other, with people bringing you food, and watching movies.
It was great. :)
We liked to mix our orange juice and champagne, and then we both enjoyed a mimosa. :) That was fun. We were just pretty giddy at the time. It was hilariously wonderful. And then Nathan gave me a letter full of sweet things and I cried. And then we flew happily away.
Sunset clouds.
This is the square by our Paris hotel. You will often find this: a cheese shop, a wine shop, a bread/pastry shop, and a veggie/fruit stand, all side by side. You can just grab your essentials and take it to the park for dinner.
On the corner there is the Brasserie
This is our first meal in Paris from the Brasserie
This is my favorite salad that I ate a few times in France. Tuna, sardines, smoked salmon.
We were really tired here, fresh off the airplane, and coming to the tower right away. We were trying to keep from napping.
Breakfast from the bakery the next morning.
This is after our visit to the Louvre. Walking through the rain toward the Arc de Triomphe.
Atop the arch
In the subway, on our way to dinner.
Great, tiny restaurant. That's the chef in the corner. Tiny place, but good.
Kisses by the tower at night.
Breakfast in an outdoor cafe. I loved all of our eating outside.
Our room in Paris was on the 4th floor. Lots of good exercise at the end of the day.
