Then I pulled out the ironing board, knocked over a door, and the middle raised insert scooched/cracked/I don't know. SO, I'll paint that baby again.
And I've filled the hinge screw holes on the cabinets. So, I am free to sand the kitchen just whenever I feel like making a gigantic, dusty mess in our house. I knew this would take 3 months or more to get done, doing a little at a time in-between everything else.
I've said it before, I'll say it again. I could get a lot done if I didn't have to feed people. :) Grocery store, Sam's, and cooking take up most of my life, and in the in-between I get to paint things. That's alright, I like to eat too.
So, Ange and I got some paint on the baby room walls! If you can't tell, it's gray with a hint of green in there. Sweet Audrey will love it.
My basil is going crazy, so we keep putting pesto on things.
Sorry it's sideways. This is a tomatillo plant! Salsa verde, coming soon.
And the kale, swiss chard, butter head, and green leaf keep coming. I love it.
So summer has just been a blur. The girls have camp, gymnastics, dance, and 2 weeks of swimming lessons are coming up.
Also, I've been thinking a lot about these:
Sorry, I'm so bad at this! Yes, I took a picture of the computer screen because I don't know how to post a picture onto my blog from off the web. And I can't figure out how to rotate them. Anyway.......
We're getting one of these at the end of July. DON'T TELL THE KIDS. It's a surprise. But we'll probably let them name her. I've been listening to how they name their rolly pollies, and I think we're going to have a hard time agreeing on one.
I keep hearing Sparkle-Shine, Star, Sugar Cube, Lunianatta. But I like elderly women's names: Lucile, Mabel, Ruby, Irma. This will be fun. Maybe we will compromise with the middle name.
Sparkly-Pink Gertrude. :)
Okay, too much coffee. Time to clean something.
