I love a good shower. But preparing for one for someone I really, really love is just wonderful.
The adrenaline that comes with getting ready for something like this makes me crazy energetic. I talk faster and get more done and I'm just plain happy.
You'll think this is weird, but I think it's the same adrenaline that pumps through a tiny mom who could lift a car if it were on her baby. It makes torte and cupcake prep even more exciting than it already is. It was such a sweet day.

It was a good food shower. :) Mom had quiche and all the fixings.
We brought our little girls along and my, how they helped Ange with her gifts. :)
The big girls ate together.

And just at the end of the shower, the duck family paid a visit to the pool. It was the sweetest thing.
Afterward we threw our kids in the pool while we girls worked on our tans and talked. It was such a great time.
