Claire captures my torte making. Riley was sautéing green beans.
I've already shared this torte recipe before, but I've got to share it again. Guys, it's worth the trouble (and it's really not that much trouble). I'm so thankful that I way over-made and there are 2 tortes left in my freezer! I've made if for Easter and 2 showers now. It's my go-to torte to make for the people I love.
And I love this girl. Can you believe she's 6 months pregnant?
It was a wonderful hang-out time with friends and family, and I can't imagine what kind of cuteness the Wheeler's will produce. But I just can't wait.
Later, Nathan's work had the zoo rented out, so we had an evening of unlimited train and carousel rides, popsicles, hamburgers, animals, glow sticks, and way awesome weather.
After church on Sunday, we ran to the nursery and got a few bushes and a lovely blue sprucey dwarf tree. Nathan dug through clay until the sun went down.
If this picture were magnified you would see gritting teeth. He said he felt like Bohannon on Hell on Wheels when he got his light out to keep digging.
They're both unstoppable.
The tree going in.
And then suddenly it became Monday. Man, I'm grateful for weekends. The recharging is medicine. Fall is medicine too. Get some pumpkin creamer and have a happy Monday. :)

So I pinned the torte recipe, but that recipe completely intimidates me!
I totally have pumpkin creamer from Aldi, and it is lovely.
Also, the torte is amazing. Thanks for helping to make my shower awesome.
