A funny/scary story

So, this morning I was preparing the guts of our enchiladas.  The washing machine was running, the chicken was cooking, the dog was running and jumping somewhere.  But I kept hearing this noise behind it all and eventually decided to investigate.
As I walked through the play room toward the garage, I realized that the garage door was opening.  AH!  What the?!
My heart started jumping out of me and my shaky hands opened the door into the garage to find that the overhead door was opening half a foot, and then closing a bit, but not all the way.  And then opening a little further and then closing a little ways.  It just kept going, but working itself more and more opened.  I started pushing the button on the wall, but it was not responding!

My brain told me some scary man was sitting in our van playing this mean game with our garage door opener.  I said, "I guess I've just got to face this guy and scream at him."

I went around through the front door to the van and opened the door.  The mean guy was gone, but the garage door was still playing its game.  I opened the compartment that held our garage door opener, and our altoids and tictacs.  The poor remote was being pushed by our assorted mints.  I dislodged the remote and mints and closed the darn door.

My hands shook for a good 10 minutes afterward.

Also, recently Redbud Farms chicken breasts have come in these little plastic bags and I think it's slimier than normal.  I'm nauseous from the smell of cooking it.  Is this just all in my head?  Bla.  I could just feel this way because I had a kale smoothie and then the scary garage door thing got me all upset.

Ugh, time to walk the dog while I'm nauseous and shaky. :)
Y'all have a fun Tuesday.
