Well, it's January 7th, but feels more like a fresh start than the 1st did.  The girls just left for school.  I made up the weekly menu and grocery list.  We woke up with the barking dog and didn't put the bark collar on so that we could go back to bed.  We had to get up today.  I'm much more likely to complete projects, exercise, and make less lazy choices when we're on a schedule, so this is good.

Everyone has been bathed and their nails are clipped (apparently this is something I'm very proud of).  The ironing is caught up.  There is a pile of muffins to get us through a couple of rushed mornings.  I rearranged the living room.  All good fresh-start things to do.

Over the weekend

The girls started a tea party club...
Which is also a "boys are gross (except for our cousins) club"
Which is also a "yoga gernastics club".  They even have a club cheer.

Nathan made omelets with a cheesy message.
If you can't read cheese, it says that he loves me. :)

Lucy bids farewell to her favorite people this morning.

I really did think I would make a point to go to bed earlier so that I could wake up earlier and be a good, morning devotional person.  And I still can.  We just had to watch 2 hours of Downton last night.  So maybe tonight I'll go to bed at 9:30 so that I can wake to pray with the dog.
