Claire had a birthday, and she's 9. !!
We had a Paris party and this is a board of "Claire Through the Years" full of pictures of her life thus far. She's a cute one.
We had a lemon POUND (butter) cake with raspberry icing. And to stay in the French/Paris theme, we had panini sandwiches for dinner. I broke my diet for that stuff (and wine) and it was SO worth it.

The cake says "Ooh-la-la!" and all we had was a tacky 9 candle, but Claire liked it, so it's all good.
Here are a few things I've already instagramed, but I know that Grandma hasn't seen. :)
I decided to capture a typical moment in the grocery store. Kate is hiding at the bottom of the cart. Her favorite place to cuddle up when she's cold.
We had Audrey the other night and she was so scared of Lucy.
She clung to Claire and Claire didn't mind at all.
We're feeding our neighbors' cats this week and it's so fun. Lola is showing Oreo her toy cat.
By the way, Lola is crazy awesome.
And from our activities today:
It's raining. The girls are painting a "table" under an umbrella behind the shed.
They're working on their clubhouse.
I planted some little yellow flowers.
And we've decided on paint colors for the shed.
All that tan is just the primer. The lower left corner are our paint colors.

I really like Claire! And all your girls, of course. That pic from the grocery store makes me laugh hard. So fun. I wouldn't have been cool enough for a Paris themed bday party.
