Gracious me.  Riley's Spain mom texted me.  Riley has boarded the plane.  They are missing her.  She and Marta are like sisters.  I feel so grateful for their making her feel so loved and cared for.

I was so busy getting the girls off to school this morning, and getting Sam's and Reasor's things for this weekend's food that I only just stopped, read Manoli's sweet text, thought about the rending hearts in Spain this morning, and how exciting, but also hard, is Riley's home-coming.

She will be so happy to eat cinnamon rolls and salad.  We have 47 hand made cards that have been made for her over these past 8 weeks of her absence.  We are so excited and it will be so fun to have her home late this evening!  I'm realizing there will be reentry culture shock and sadness too.  And I'm sad she'll miss her friend.

Thankfully there is Skype, and the hopes of another trip to Spain some day.
