I love these days with cool mornings.  Kate, Lola and I have been going on morning bike ride/stroller ride/walks.  Kate is fast, so it's actually a good walk for me.
And by the way, Riley has finally mastered riding with no training wheels!  We had an afternoon of tears and struggle, which turned into an evening of triumph and celebrating at Cherry Berry.  She had the hang of it last summer, but lost her courage this year.  She's got it back and it's fun to watch her.  She probably could have done it 3 years ago, but her parents were slow in training.

I taught the kids last night in church.  It's been a while since I was a preschool teacher, but it felt a little like that and it was really fun.  I don't know why, but I rather enjoy doing motions to a verse while they all stare blankly at me, or sing a song a little too high out of my range to the tune of 3 blind mice about people crying Hosanna when Jesus came into Jerusalem, and again they stare blankly at me.
Or how about when half the teenage helpers are on their iphones.  I said to them, "Okay, whose going to help me with this?"  And they all kept chatting/texting, thinking I was talking to the kids.  I only had to say it a little louder 3 more times.  They really were helpful.  I just like to make fun of teenagers glued to their iphones.  Don't think I'll let my teenager have one.

Still rolling no sugar through lent.  My 40 days are almost up.  I'm going to make something awesome for Easter dessert, that's for sure.

I'm really excited about our Mother's Day idea.  My sisters and I are going to have a photo shoot with my Mom this weekend while Shannon is in town.  It's going to be an awesome time. :)
