I just gave myself a headache helping Claire with math. There are a few words I've become familiar with. I can say "draw a circle around..." in Spanish. But now Claire has to count by tens. And count how many groups of 10 there are. Unidades means one digit. Decenas means a group of ten. I have to remember that so tomorrow will be easier. I've always known Dibuja (draw) but now they're using dibujaste (what you already drew). Let's change the subject. My headache is coming back.
Thank the Lord Riley is a big help. These words just stick in her head and she helps us translate homework all the time. Claire has my brain, and I fear she will have to work at this. But if Claire and I work together, perhaps some day I will be able to do long division word problems in Spanish. You know like, "Billy Bob had 12 red balls. Debbie Downer stole 3 of them and replaced them with rotten oranges..." I don't know. Somehow it becomes a division problem. And we'll figure it out one word at a time. :)
Okay, don't miss my earlier post. There is a good recipe on it.

these things are amazing. roll them into balls instead of cutting them into brownie things, and add cinnamon.
Manda, math freaks me out. Spanish math... I will never go back to school. Ever. You made some cool little people though.
