Refreshed

Couldn't we just have Labor Day weekend all the time?  It was so wonderful to have an extra slow morning where the only pressing thing for the girls was to grab their "drawing hats" and practice drawing roses. :)

We also had some good quality potty training.  I asked her to stand by her potty chair for a picture and this is what she did.  I do love her hiney in her brief panties.  And wouldn't you love it if your head were bigger than your hiney?  Or rather, your hiney smaller than your head. :)  Those are some adorable proportions.

Nathan smoked a pork butt in an attempt to copy Smoke's pork tacos.  We tried to make their chipotle cream sauce.  We think we did a good job.  It was delicious, but the girls are not a fan of pork.  All our hard work got spit out and they were begging for veggie tacos.  Ah well.

Also this weekend, we did replace our kitchen cabinet pulls.  I still have to sand and paint, but the urgent part it done.  No more shorts ripping.
And Nathan put the last smooth sanding job on our little table refinishing project.  Now to stain, sand again lightly to bring out the grain, and polyurethane.
