A good Saturday doing awesome things

Perfect weather drew the girls outside even before breakfast.  They built a little "yard" out of spare wood and rocks around their playhouse and then raked that little yard.  It kept them busy all morning. :)

Nathan finished our project!  Almost.  I'm supposed to design a little finial/knob thing for the very center.  He predicts this never happens.  We'll see.

Once that was done, the sunken bench bothered him more, so we ripped out the bottom and discovered that we don't even have to remove the lovely fabric!

He's already cut out boards for the bottom and my 50% off coupon is good tomorrow for half off foam to fill 'er up.

After all that, I was so thankful for Nathan and his awesomeness, I ironed his shirts and pants.  Nathan was so thankful for my ironing that he fixed me a super wonderful drink of apple cider with Amaretto.  Do it!  It's just delish.  I was so thankful for my drink that I made him pizza for dinner.  The day just kept getting better and better. :)

you are very cute :-) And I think that wall hanging is perfect - with or without anything in the middle.
