Halloween was just Grand
This lady (Grandma/Scarecrow) threw a great party for us.
There was this cute bug.
We played games with our friends.
Let me just say, Riley had plenty of sugar. She was in rare form, "wrapping the appendix" and such.
A couple of weeks earlier the girls helped Grandma make this piñata.
It was a good time. We texted Nathan pictures and were a little sad he couldn't trick or treat with us. But Grandma really saved the day by throwing us a party.
And after that we went to see Gigi (my grandma) and bag some more candy. It was a good, sugary, late night, and the girls peeled themselves out of bed at 6 this morning for some reason.
We'll have another party tonight to celebrate Nathan being back home, which the girls say will involve them hiding their candy behind every door in the house, so Daddy can trick-or-treat with them. :)

These are such great pictures! Kay makes a mighty fine scarecrow. She's so creative. Where was your costume? I love that they wanted to hide their candy behind every door. funny :)
