Oh my, Oh me

I'm sorry I complain and say, "My Life!"
My life is sweet and awesome, and so, so full.  Full of good things.  There are people who starve for full lives.  There are people who need to be needed.  I'm so needed, it's actually fulfilling my own needs to be so needed.

The weather! Oh my.  We went out and ate some fro-yo on a patio last night.  I watch Kate eat as only a Kate does eat.  She's so feisty, you can see it when she chews.  Lola waves at everyone and everyone waves back, their day having just been made.  Riley is 9.  Stuck between child and woman.  She crosses her legs to eat her yogurt.  It warms my heart and makes me sad too.  Claire is hi-larious (just like her mother *smile*).  She gets a brain freeze and starts gasping that that she needs a gummy worm to make it better, and closes her eyes as she chew the worm.  Kind of a weird funny.  I know that doesn't sound hi-larious, but she uses voices and stays in character.  She makes us laugh a lot.

And Nathan.  He rubs my back and gives me hugs, and pours me wine at dinner time.  When we get busy doing our own thing he says, "Hey, come over here."  Why would I ever say, "My Life!"?  I don't know.  Because I forget grace and mercy.  I don't see what I've been trusted with: these little people; these personalities and hearts.  There is hope for the future and today is dear.

So, I'm glad they're all home for a week.

I went to physical therapy yesterday.  They gave me an incredible lumbar support pillow.  I use it when I drives and when I sits.  I'm sorry, I just finished a cup of coffee and I'm texting with my mom and sisters.  They make me silly.
It really does help, though.  I'm excited.  Turns out bad posture and bending over 93 times a day just bulges discs.  Don't slump, girls, and squat to pick up all those socks and ponytail holders.  I have hope that the pain will be gone soon.  My MRI said I also have signs of a little arthritis.  I need to get some vitamins for that.  I'm just happy I really can manage the problem without surgery.
And I have to schedule breaks, where I sit or lay every couple of hours.  How wonderful that I can give myself mandatory breaks. :)

Well, it's grocery store time and I've got to break the news to the kids.  Happy Spring Break, ya'll's!

when I drives and when I sits made me puke laugh. Claire is weird funny, just like you. It's good.

Breaks are a fantastic idea for you! Lie on the couch and put your feet up. :)
