This is the finger which I nearly severed while chopping dried dates as fast as I could. The severed nail finally let go and is gone. Gross. It is only slightly numb/tingly on the corner. I'm afraid the nail is going to stay ugly/weird.
I've been attending a class on raising well nurtured kids, lead by an incredible woman that I love, and she shares some fun activities we can do with the kids each week. This week we made peanut butter play dough and then decorated our creations with sprinkles. We pretty much ate peanut butter for lunch that day, with some apples. Happy kids.
And who knows when I'll paint my very white primed walls. I just finished my 8th cabinet door. 4 more to go. Then I'll get to the kitchen walls.
Edible Playdough
One 18oz jar of creamy peanut butter
6 Tbsp honey
3/4 cup nonfat dry milk
Opt. for decor - Sprinkles, stick pretzels
The play-dough project was really fun.
But, I make the girls cook for me all the time.
When my back hurts, I sit on a stool and direct them. And they love it.
Can't you tell?
Big sister struggles through the shallot chopping. She looks miserable, but she really did want to do it.
This girl chopped garden tomatoes until her finger tips were raisins. Hard working and cute, just like her mother. Hahaha, I'm so kidding. But really... :)
