I always second guess a post, especially if I call my kids "the screamers", and talk about wanting to get away, because I love hanging out with them, and they don't scream all the time. :)
So, I want you to know that, in spite of my lent/fasting choice (referring to the previous post), we laugh and we talk and we read and we sing...and there is a lot of screaming in between.

It is loud in our house, and crazy.  They run in circles, screaming, with Lucy through the house, using the couch as a hurdle.  Lucy taught them about jumping over the couch.  They all scream, and that makes Lucy run more, and then she jumps on them and licks them while they scream.  Scream scream scream.

Another form of volume up-ness is the piano playing.  But I love this form of loudness.  Riley and Claire are really improving quickly and I'm proud.  They're teaching Kate a little too.  I may as well sit down and let them teach me.
Their teacher said they are "gifted", and the fastest improving students she's had this past year.  She said compared to how much they practice, it's shocking.  I don't know how to answer that.  Sorry they don't practice enough. Or Yay.  They have begun more faithful practice and they're just doing great.  I'm so happy and jealous. :)
Side note: We could dispute where their giftedness comes from, but I did take piano for 4 months just before I got married and my piano teacher said I was improving at the rate of a 5-yr-old.  I laughed, but then he told me that was awesome.  Little kids are fast learners. :)

Doesn't this look like something you want to eat for lunch?  Well, I love it.  I've shared This Ancho Chicken Tacos with Cilantro Slaw recipe But I always make a black bean dip to go on there with it.  And we usually run out of chicken and have plenty of the cilantro-lime slaw and bean dip left.
It's my perfect lunch.

Nathan has prepped the garden area.  We'll have to put a fence up this year.
Lucy loves to dig in fresh dirt, and eat plants.

Riley is growing up too fast.  She loves coffee.

Your kids are loud and awesome and that's your norm.

Do not get invisalign. Your teeth are great. I oil pull most days (supposed to do it before coffee :/)and my teeth have gotten whiter. It's good for so many things, including receding gums. Hello, you're a ramey. of course you have receding gums.

Hm, giving up facebook and IG sounds so lovely. I may jump in late... love you.

Oh, and your voice/piano recital is in my memory. Singing is your natural talent.............
